Kinder Morgan appeals Georgia denial of Palmetto Pipeline

A Houston-based energy company is going to court to challenge Georgia's rejection of a proposed $1 billion petroleum pipeline. Kinder Morgan Inc. has filed a petition in Fulton County Superior Court asking for a review of the state Department of Transportation's denial last month of a permit for the Palmetto Pipeline, which would carry 150,000 barrels of gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and ethanol through 201 miles of Georgia.

Kubota Announces Expansion of Manufacturing Operations in Georgia

Kubota Tractor Corp. and Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp. today announced plans to increase production capacity for Kubota equipment in the U.S. by building a new manufacturing plant and expanding its existing operations in Gainesville, Ga.
