FAA is proposing $150,000 civil penalty against Talon Air, Inc., of Farmingdale, NY, for allegedly violating Federal Aviation Regulations by allowing 4 pilots to fly without proper training or examinations. FAA alleges that 3 pilots did not undergo recurrent training or receive competency flight checks within required periods of time, and that fourth pilot’s initial training was conducted by unqualified person.
