A vacancy has arisen for a Head of Employment Marketing Recruitment UK Maternity cover with Astrium in Stevenage, to start at the end of Maybeginning of June. The primary objective of Employment Marketing EM is the provision of highly motivated and skilled staff for the company in the medium and long term, and increasing Astriums employer attractiveness internally and externally. As a team we look to attract the right people at the right time. There is a need to focus on employer branding and marketing through various forms of media such as our Astrium Careers website, Facebook page, brochures and face to face contact at career fairs. This role will report directly into the Head of Employment Marketing who is based in France. Within the framework of the Companys strategy, the job holder is Responsible for Employment Marketing and recruitment activities in the UK, ensuring alignment with global Employment Marketing strategy and objectives at an Astrium and EADS level Actively contributing to Astrium Employment Marketing activities The key responsibilities of the role are as follows 1. Employment Marketing Team Management of UK Employment Marketing Team A growing team of 2 in the UK Oversee Astrium UKs Graduate and Apprentice Programmes Responsible for Astrium UKs Outreach Education activities Campus Management, STEM Ambassador Programme Management and implementation of Astrium UK Internship policy 2. UK Recruitment Responsible for UK Recruitment Budget Responsible for UK Headhunt activities Management of relocation for UK starters some intersite transfers 3. EADS Recruitment Centre ERC Change Management Responsible for communication of EADS Recruitment Centre topics across Astrium UK HR Line Managers internal recruitment Working with UK EADS Divisional counterparts to ensure integration of EADS Recruitment Shared Service recruitment policies across the UK Divisions EADS Careers events Coordination of Astrium activities i.e. Farnborough International Airshow 4. Employment Marketing activities Management of Astrium Employment Marketing projects Astrium Careers website, EM Services for Astrium Subsidiaries Work with Astrium Employment Marketing counterparts in France Germany on international topics and projects Liaison with UK Corporate Communications on employment branding media topics Member of EADS Employment Marketing Project Groups EADS Website, EADS Social Media 5. The main objective of this job is to provide the necessary support for an environment that is based on MicroStrategy, a business intelligence platform and that integrates data from several sources and allows for the setting up of reports in an easily accessible way. Specific Tasks The work covers support to the development and maintenance of IT applications in the field of Management Support Systems MIS, as well as support to the utilization and operations of office productivity tools and related infrastructure. As such it covers Definition, design, development and maintenance of specific MIS tools mainly local or shared databases, including production and maintenance of associated documentation. System Analysis of the MIS applications used to improve the overall system efficiency. Identification of requirement for interfacing with Corporate applications SAP BI datawarehouse and design and implementation of related interfaces with internal applications, in coordination with related design authorities. Liaison with user community and provision of user support. Experience in developing web application using Oracle Application Express is preferred A Good experience in developing web applications using standard application frameworks as Struts, Spring, JSF, Hibernate etc. and related web technologies e.g. CSS, Javascript, Ajax, XML, XSL, etc. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package in particular MS Excel and Access in combination with Web based applications using OLE automation Knowledge of Microsoft 20032008 server environments, Active Directory and Networking. Nontechnical Skills Excellent communication skills written, interpersonal, negotiation and telephone communications are crucial.
