Electrolux AB said Monday it isn't in settlement discussions with the U.S. Department of Justice, as it continues its antitrust trial to determine whether it can proceed with a proposed $3.3 billion deal to buy General Electric's Earlier this year the DOJ filed a complaint with the Federal Court seeking to stop the deal with the U.S. firm, arguing it would reduce competition and lead to higher prices. Electrolux has contested the argument.
