Fairfield U. to start Engineers Without Borders chapter

A $40,000 grant from ASML, a Dutch company that supplies the semiconductor industry, will allow Fairfield University's School of Engineering to establish a campus chapter of Engineers Without Borders/USA. Engineers Without Borders is a nonprofit organization along the lines of Doctors Without Borders that supports community programs worldwide.

On November 13, 2014, the Seventh Circuit will hear oral arguments on a motion for rehearing in Motorola Mobility LLC v. AU Optronics Corp. et al. , to consider the reach of the Sherman Act 1 outside of the United States borders and to possibly interpret some key provisions of the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvements Act .
