Tata Motors' total sales of commercial and passenger vehicles in December 2014 were 41,734 vehicles equating to 10% sales growth over 37,836 vehicles sold in December 2013. Domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for December 2014 were 37,776 units over 35,010 vehicles sold in December 2013, equating to 8% growth.

Through Jan-Nov 2014, Daimler commercial vehicles sold in Indonesia reported a drop with 51,400 vehicles sold, down from 57,400 units sold in Jan-Nov 2013 owing to market downturn. Despite lower sales volume, Daimler Trucks market share in Indonesia increased to 47.2% up from 46.7% in the period in 2013.

Ocado sales growth slows a touch

The firm said on Thursday its gross retail sales rose 14.9 percent to 311.4 million pounds in the 16 weeks to Nov. 30, its fiscal fourth quarter. Ocado, whose range includes products supplied by upmarket grocer Waitrose [JLP.UL], has not made an annual pretax profit since it was founded in 2000 but analysts are forecasting one for its year just ended, the 2013-14 financial year.

Car sales hit growth path in Nov after two months of decline

The domestic passenger vehicle industry has managed to put a brake sliding sales after two months as a combination of factors including lower fuel price and uncertainty over extension of excise cuts next year resulted in improved sales in November. Car sales grew by 9.5% last month over the previous year, offsetting the 6.8% decline in the sale of multi-utility and sports utility vehicles.
