The state IT department is inching closer to signing MoUs with private partners Tata Motors and Tata Consultancy Services over the long-pending IIIT in the wake of the Union government's green light to land for the project in Kanke block this May. A meeting in this regard has now been fixed with all stakeholders and chief secretary Rajiv Gauba on September 16. S.V. Sahu, a deputy director-rank officer of the IT department who will meet Union HRD officials in New Delhi on September 14 on formalities related to the IIIT, said the meeting at the chief secretary's office on September 16 will be crucial. "All stakeholders will be taking part in the meeting to discuss MoU modalities," he said.
