Overhead Traveling Crane is designed for minimal deadweight.

2015-02-13 14:30:22| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Demag V-type crane is designed with reduced crane deadweight, which produces less wheel pressure, minimizes forces transmitted to existing building structure, and increases max load capacity. Diaphragm joints allow lighter loads to be transmitted to crane wheel components as well as to entire building and extends service life to >500,000 load cycles. Also, oscillation characteristics enable heavy and sensitive loads to be positioned precisely and quickly.

Crane Worldwide Logistics growing in Columbus thanks to auto-parts makers

2015-02-03 11:10:06| Industrial Machines - Topix.net

Crane Worldwide Logistics has doubled staff in Central Ohio with plans to add more, thanks to the region's deep supply chain of foreign automakers and their suppliers. The Houston, Texas-based third-party logistics company has managed a 304,560-square-foot distribution center for Japanese auto-parts maker American Showa Inc. since December at Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park, which District Director Kurt Brulisauer says required the company grow to 60 Columbus-area employees, up from 30, and has it on pace to hire at least another 20. "Overnight, we doubled our staff," Brulisauer told me.
