Medical Society asks Highmark to reverse decision; 6 local credit unions make 'problem' list

Pennsylvania Medical Society officials met with Highmark senior staff Tuesday and asked the Pittsburgh insurer to reverse its decision to cut reimbursements to private physicians by 4.5 percent. Highmark had announced the cut in light of an estimated $500 million loss from its marketplace insurance plans in 2015.
