(Telecompaper) Norwegian mobile operator Ice Group has announced positive adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter in a row in Q2 2020 and extended its customer base for the 21st consecutive quarter. Smartphone service revenue was up by 19 percent year on year and the operator has a 10 percent market share. It announced talks for more funding and will release details about this once they have reached a conclusion.

Orange trims FY outlook as revenues, EBITDA turn lower in Q2

Altice France's EBITDA growth slows to 1.6% in Q1

(Telecompaper) Altice Europe's French operations generated revenues of EUR 2.64 billion in the first quarter, up 3.6 percent year-on-year (+13.3% in Q4). EBITDA rose 1.6 percent to 975 million, marginally below analysts' consensus forecast. The EBITDA growth rate slowed down sequentially from 19.6 percent in the previous quarter. The French subsidiary continued to account for 73 percent of Altice Europe's revenues, broadly stable year-on-year.
Vodafone maintains div on underlying FY growth, sees lower EBITDA in new year

(Telecompaper) Vodafone Group reported revenues for the year to March up 3.0 percent to EUR 45.0 billion, helped by its takeover of Liberty Global's cable assets and underlying service revenue growth of 0.8 percent to EUR 37.9 billion. Adjusted EBITDA rose 2.6 percent on an organic basis to EUR 14.9 billion, in line with its outlook, and Vodafone said the result is likely to be flat to slightly lower in the new year.
Swisscom sees drop in revenues, EBITDA, minimal impact of Covid-19 crisis in Q1

(Telecompaper) Swisscom said that its revenues decreased by 4.3 percent year-on-year in Q1 2020 to CHF 2.73 billion, in line with expectations, and with minimal impact of the Covid-19 crisis on its financial results for the period. EBITDA fell 0.7 percent to CHF 1.11 billion. In the Swiss market, the company saw a 4.4 percent decline in revenues to CHF 2.07 billion in the first quarter, with revenues in the telecommunication services down by CHF 72 million amid persistent competitive and price pressure in various segments.
