Janusz Bryzek, the visionary and serial entrepreneur who founded the Trillion Sensor Summit initiative, has formed a startup company called eXo System Inc. Bryzek's LinkedIn entry states that the company plans to develop a handheld ultrasound imager that "requires no training to produce textbook quality pictures and videos of internal organs at low cost, affordable by world doctors, nurses, medics, ER technicians, veterinarians, and other medical personnel." Bryzek references the World Health Organization saying that the availability of such an ultrasound imager would be the best instrument to upgrade global healthcare.
