Hill: Two-thirds of United States residents support the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) proposal to reduce power plants carbon dioxide emissions, according to a poll released Wednesday by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal. The survey found that 37 percent of respondents strongly support EPAs proposal unveiled June 2, and 30 somewhat support it. Twenty-nine percent oppose it, the poll found. Bee colonies helped by mild winter in England, survey shows

Blue and Green: English honey bees benefitted from this years mild winter and improved colony survival rate, but experts noted that the loss is still too high. Winter survey by the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) revealed that honey bee colony losses were one in ten compared to losses of more than one in three over the winter of 2012-2013, with improvement shown in all regions across England.
