Australia electrical equipment market reported the US accounting for 26% of total trade value in 2010

Two-thirds of all goods were imported, with foreign manufacturers posting an increasing share in the Australian market. By the end of 2010 imported equipment sold for nearly A$2 billion, up from A$1.1 billion in 2000, and ended up accounting for 66% of the total transaction value.
