Ion Generator improves IAQ in air conditioned spaces.

2015-10-05 14:31:08| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Using 4 separated polarized ion emitters and Bernoulli Effect for ion dispersion and mixing, RGF QUAD-DM™ produces bi-polar ions in air-conditioned space of residential and commercial buildings. Unit reduces particulates, allergens, smoke, bacteria, and mold spores and thereby helps eliminate odors and generally cleanse the air. Mounted via flexible magnetic feet to inside of air handler, generator targets for HVAC/IAQ industry and can treat up to 6 ton A/C unit.

IAQ Guideline urges use of high efficiency filters.

2015-09-08 14:31:12| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

With recent research showing that ultrafine particles are more hazardous to human health than originally thought, higher-efficiency filters should be used, according to ASHRAE's Guideline 24-2015, Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality in Low-Rise Residential Buildings. MERV 10 rated filters and higher are preferred for removing smaller airborne allergens and particles below 2.5 microns, which may be one of the most significant indoor airborne contaminants in terms of chronic health impact.
