Rail work to close State Route 36

The California Department of Transportation District 2 along with Union Pacific Railroad crews will close a portion of State Route 36 near the former Ford Dealership in Red Bluff, west of Interstate 5. The closure will take place from 8 a.m. Aug. 12 through 8 p.m. Aug. 13. Union Pacific Railroad crews will replace 120 feet of track.

World Fuel doubts Quebec can force it to pay for rail disaster cleanup
