Telstra to cut local contractor positions

Telstra South West Victoria area general manager Bill Mundy said permanent staff in Ballarat affected by Telstra's restructure of its whitemail and operations divisions can still stay with the company if desired. The restructure will see 18 whitemail contractor roles not renewed, while the remaining 11 permanent staff - located in the Gillies Street office - face a relocation to Melbourne.
