Angiochem, a clinical stage biotechnology company creating and developing drugs that cross the blood-brain barrier, today announced that results from an ongoing multi-center Phase II study were presented on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the 2015 American Society for Clinical Oncology annual meeting being held in Chicago. The trial was designed to evaluate the activity of ANG1005, a novel taxane-peptide conjugate able to cross the blood brain barrier and enter cancer cells by targeting the LRP-1 receptor, in metastatic breast cancer patients.
