NE 47th and Halsey Green Street: Intersection Redesign with Stormwater Improvements

The bureaus of Environmental Services and Transportation are partnering on a project to improve stormwater management and transportation safety at the complex intersection of NE 47th Avenue, NE Halsey Street and NE Euclid Avenue. The intersection had the 22nd highest crash rate in 2010 of all 22,000 intersections in Portland.

Clinton Green Street and Sewer Construction Update: August 29, 2014

As part of the Tabor to the River Program, Environmental Services will begin construction on the Clinton Green Street and Sewer Project next week. Over the next year, this project will replace 3,800 feet of sewer pipe installed over 100 years ago, construct 24 green street planters and add two blocks of pervious paving. These improvements will protect public health, property and the environment, and reduce the possibility of sewage releases into streets, homes and businesses.
