Two motorcyclists who reportedly were drunk caused a three-vehicle accident Sunday night, sending one of them to the hospital with major injuries. At approximately 5 p.m., the two motorcyclists were traveling westbound on McCourtney Road approaching Lime Kiln Road at a high rate of speed, said California Highway Patrol spokesman Greg Tassone.

Someone fraudulently obtained and used a victim's credit card number to make several unauthorized retail purchases between Dec. 9, 2015, and Jan. 12. The purchases totaled $607.30 and were made in Ohio and New York. Kenneth M. Chin, 25 of the 300 block of N. Malden Avenue in La Grange Park, was stopped Jan. 24 for speeding over the posted limit at Forest and Ogden avenues.

A Chicago man was charged with DUI after being pulled over in front of a police station early Monday in west suburban Riverside. An officer spotted a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer stopped in the middle of traffic on Riverside Road at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing at 1:57 a.m., according to a statement from Riverside police.
