The city installed many of these sewer pipes before 1920. The project also includes constructing about 9,100 feet of 6-inch sewer branch pipes that will connect homes and businesses to the new public sewer pipes.

SW 86th Avenue Pump Station Project Construction Update: November 8, 2013

Environmental Services works to protect water quality and the environment through wastewater collection and treatment, sewer construction and maintenance, stormwater management, and stream and watershed restoration. When the SW 86th Avenue Pump Station is complete at the end of 2015, it will increase the capacity of the Fanno Basin Sewer System to ensure that the system can handle all wastewater flows during large rain storms.
