Ground Segment Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer 1620123 Job Description We are looking for a Ground Segment Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer for our client EUMETSAT, based in Darmstadt, Germany. You will be part of the GSI IME team which provides support to the Copernicus Sentinel3 operational support and maintenance of the Copernicus Sentinel3 infrastructure. The duties range from the installation, testing, maintenance and operational support of the missionspecific and MME infrastructure. This may include the settingup and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures, the support to the procurement of hardware and software, and the coordination with external service providers. Your tasks will include Generate and maintain installation documentation, including layout diagrams, Infrastructure Interface Control Documents, cabling database, network diagrams using the Struxurware data center management and iPatch cabling management tools Contribute to the definition of the layouts in the operational rooms Perform the physical installation of infrastructure for the S3 equipment installation, such as cables, interface panels, network devices, consoles, racks and furniture.
