Montavilla North and South Sewer Repair Projects Update - Design is complete

Environmental Services has completed design on two projects to repair about 22,000 feet, more than four miles, of public sewers in the Montavilla neighborhood and eastern edges of North Tabor, Mount Tabor, and South Tabor neighborhoods. Existing sewers are about 80 to 100 years old and in deteriorating condition. These projects will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses, and streets.

Sunnyside East Green Street and Sewer Project Update: Design almost complete and Night Work Proposed

Environmental Services is nearly finished with the design of the Sunnyside East Green Street and Sewer Project in the Sunnyside Neighborhood to repair, replace, or install 4,800 feet of sewer pipe. Some of the pipe being replaced is 100 years old and deteriorating due to age. Environmental Services will also add 16 green street planters and replace or plant 26 trees to remove 2.4 million gallons of stormwater from sewer pipes.
