Atlanta-based Bastille is expanding its workforce and plans to triple its office footprint as the cybersecurity startup scales to commercialization. Bastille, which raised $9 million earlier this month, has leased more than 10,000 square feet at Brickworks Atlanta, a mixed-use redevelopment in West Midtown.

The Akron Police Department, Summit County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol will conduct free vehicle safety inspections Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Akron Radio Center, 1795 W. Market St. The program allows citizens to have their vehicles inspected without fear of citations, according to city officials. Participants also will receive gift cards for Advance Auto Parts and O'Reilly Auto Parts stores.
