Sellwood-Moreland Sewer Rehab Project Construction Update: October 27, 2015

Environmental Services is repairing or replacing about 25,000 feet of public sewer pipes in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood that are between 80 and 100 years old and failing due to age. This project will help protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of costly breaks, leaks, blockages and sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.

SW 86th Avenue Pump Station Construction Update: October 23, 2015 - REVISED: Trail Closure for Three Weeks

The Fanno Creek Trail will close between SW 86th and SW 84th avenues for up to three weeks starting as soon as Monday, November 2 while work crews connect pipes to pressure sewer lines under the trail at SW 84th Avenue.

Southwest Ventilation Project Update: October 15, 2015

Environmental Services is working on a project to reduce sewer odors and increase the capacity of the Southwest Parallel Interceptor sewer system. The project is designed to accommodate current needs and potential growth. Since February, the contractor has installed about 1,000 feet of 24-inch concrete pipe and 6 manholes along SW Taylors Ferry Road, and 2 manholes on SW Virginia Avenue.
