NEMA Publishes ANSI/NEMA C29 Composite Insulator Standards

ANSI/NEMA C29.12-2013 specifies composite suspension (tension) insulators with minimum section length of 46 in., while ANSI/NEMA C29.17-2013 specifies composite transmission line post type insulators with section lengths 41 in. or greater. Lastly, ANSI/NEMA C29.18-2013 specifies composite distribution line post type insulators with section lengths 30.6 in. or less.
