FAA Proposes $90,000 Civil Penalty Against Red Eagle Aviation

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposed $90,000 civil penalty against Red Eagle Aviation of Kalispell, MT for alleged operation of Bell 206 helicopter when it was not in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Allegedly, Red Eagle operated said helicopter on numerous flights, including at least 80 revenue flights, from May 2011 to May 2013 without having performed required, periodic overhauls of tail rotor hub and main rotor mast assemblies.
