The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality is issuing a High Pollution Advisory for the Phoenix metropolitan area for Friday, May 1. It is the first HPA for ozone in 2015. According to the ADEQ, it's being issued because the high pressure system affecting Valley air flow is locking in on ozone.
