Medifast Inc. CEO Michael C. MacDonald 's compensation totaled just more than $6 million in 2014, rising by about $3.5 million because it encountered a snag in previous stock awards. Owings Mills-based Medifast had originally paid MacDonald with salary, bonus, stock and other compensation totaling more than $7 million in 2013.
