As option, Amacoil-Uhing Linear Drives are available with combination shaft wiper/grease fitting, which removes dirt from shaft while drive is running and simultaneously assures adequate shaft lubrication with manufacturer-approved grease. Shaft wiper consists of O-ring made of specially formulated rubber which is mounted in Delrin® brand plastic fitting. One wiper is attached to each end of drive unit. As drive moves back and forth, wipers push debris to either end of shaft.
