The effort to reinvigorate New Jersey's economy from the ground up by supporting entrepreneurs and start-up companies got a boost Monday with the announcement of a new business accelerator backed by a $50 million fund. The accelerator was unveiled at the Newark headquarters of Audible, the audio book producer, whose founder, Donald Katz, is one of the main initiators of the effort, at a press conference studded with business and political heavyweights.

One hundred percent of voting BLET members working for New Jersey Transit have voted in favor of withdrawing from service should the union and the railroad fail to reach an agreement to settle their contract dispute under processes set forth in the Railway Labor Act.
