(Telecompaper) Swiss operator Salt said its total revenues decreased year on year in Q3 2020 by 2.3 percent to CHF 259.2 million, on a like-for-like basis, from CHF 265.4 million in the same period the prior year, hit by a fall in roaming revenue due to the impact of Covid-19 on travel. On a reported basis, including the effect of the tower sales and Covid-19, operating revenues excluding incoming revenues were down by 2.2 percent in Q3 to CHF 212.3 million.

(Telecompaper) Vodafone said its performance in the consumer postpaid market was the best since its merger with Ziggo. Including business Sims, the company added a net 76,000 retail postpaid customers in Q3, for a total of nearly 4.7 million at the end of September. Its retail postpaid base is up 6.4 percent year-on-year, supported in large part by demand for its fixed-mobile converged packages.

(Telecompaper) Telefonica Germany saw its revenues increase by 0.4 percent year-on-year in Q3 2020 to EUR 1.87 billion thanks to high customer interest, especially in mobile tariffs of the core brand O2 and fixed-network offers, and with sustained trends in mobile service revenue (MSR) and fixed revenue. Operating profit before depreciation and amortisation (OIBDA) rose OIBDA rose by 0.8 percent to EUR 595 million.
