MICROELECTRONICS TO BECOME COMPULSORY IN 70 HIGH SCHOOLS BY 2020 19:41, 12 October, 2015 YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, ARMENPRESS. A pilot project is underway in the high schools of the republic since September of the current year according to which "Microelectronics", "Information technologies" and "Telecommunications" become compulsory.

Guardian: Antarctic ice is melting so fast that the stability of the whole continent could be at risk by 2100, scientists have warned. Widespread collapse of Antarctic ice shelves floating extensions of land ice projecting into the sea could pave the way for dramatic rises in sea level. The new research predicts a doubling of surface melting of the ice shelves by 2050. Five stations were added to the free WiFi pilot on Monday, Oct 12. LTA plans to expand the free WiFi service progressively such that by 2020, commuters will connect to free WiFi at all MRT and LRT stations, bus interchanges and terminals. SINGAPORE: Commuters will be able to connect to free WiFi at 33 MRT stations from Monday , said the Land Transport Authority .

Officials responded after a call from Union Pacific Railroad reported a northbound Metra train had struck a pedestrian who was walking on the railroad tracks near the 7900 block of Sheridan Rd, according to a release from the Kenosha Police Department. The victim, Adam Richter, was pronounced dead at the scene.
