Associated Press: Canada announced Friday it plans to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030 amid international efforts to create a new framework for addressing climate change. Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservative government said it formally submitted its target to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change ahead of the major climate change conference in Paris in December. The U.S. has committed to a 26 percent to 28 percent cut by 2025 from 2005 levels....

A 22-year-old woman working with Tata Consultancy Services , was killed after she was hit by an unknown vehicle in Goregaon East, police said on Saturday. The incident took place on Wednesday night and the victim kept lying on the road unattended for about half an hour after she was hit by the vehicle, they said.
