South Korea fund to abstain from Samsung merger vote, wants share buybacks

South Korea's National Pension Service does not support the merger of two Samsung Group units and plans to ask them to buy back its holdings in the pair, an NPS spokeswoman said on Saturday. NPS, the world's fourth-largest pension fund, currently owns 5.9 percent of each of the two Samsung units, the spokeswoman said.

RockTenn Announces Dividend; Increases Annualized Dividend by 7 Percent to $0.75 Per Share

RockTenn today reported that its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.1875 per share on its Class A Common Stock to shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 7, 2014. The dividend, which will be paid on Nov. 17, 2014, represents an annual dividend rate of $0.75 per share.
