Powell's is proud to offer a second semester of Powell's City College, a series of classes on the arts and culture of Portland taught by members of the community with expertise in a particular field. Introduction to Scrivener (for Mac users): Learn the Basics of Using Scrivener to Write Your Book Have you ever wanted to learn what it's like to write a book-length piece using software specifically designed to write and organize a book? Scrivener is a powerful program that goes far beyond anything a traditional word processor offers in terms of writing, outlining, organizing, researching, and much more. Tuition: $110. Instructor: Yuvi Zalkow, novelist and computer engineer. Thursday, April 11, and Monday, April 15, 6 - 8pm Register for this class.
