That was a slogan somebody started back in the 1970s, perhaps a bit tongue in cheek. But there’s truth in that statement. This truth has been revealed over the past 20 years through the Pork Industry Environmental Stewards Award program. The first winners were named in 1995, and 2014 marks the 20th class of pork industry stewards. read more
