According to The Detroit News, 2015 auto sales could surpass the all-time record of 17.41 million vehicles set in 2000. General Motors Company reported that its October U.S. auto sales rose 16 percent year-over-year, Ford Motor Company reported a 13 percent increase in its October U.S. sales and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV reported a 15 percent jump in its October U.S. sales.
