Our 2016 IndustryConference speakers include Tom Gideon, PE, Senior Director of Safety at NASCAR Research and Development and Andrea Brands, Director of Consumer Safety & Education at AT&T. Tom came from General Motors, where he served as Safety Manager for GM Racing for the previous 12 years.Tom is a Professional Engineer with a BSME from The Ohio State University, the author / co-author of several SAE papers on driver’s safety, an SAE member for 28 years, and a Board Member of the International Council of Motorsports Sciences (ICMS). Tom’s primary role is improving driver’s safety and crash analysis.
