500 without power in Carson City, storm delays Tahoe schools

A late winter storm delayed the start of school at Lake Tahoe and temporarily left about 500 homes and businesses without power in the Carson City area. The National Weather Service has issued a high lake wind advisory effective through 7 p.m. Monday for Lake Tahoe and Pyramid Lake.
