Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and AASHTO examined allegations about ET-Plus guardrail system, specifically if there were multiple versions of ET-Plus and whether devices used in recent crash tests were representative of devices installed on roads. According to report results, there is no evidence suggesting there are devices with markedly different dimensions. End terminals crash tested at SwRI from Dec 2014 to Jan 2015 are representative of devices installed across USA.
