R. James Galipeau, director of Intertek PTL (Pittsfield, MA), joined ASTM International board of directors for 3-year term. ASTM member since 1992, Galipeau graduated University of Massachusetts and concentrated on analytical, physical, electrical, mechanical, and rheological testing of plastics. He is immediate past chairman of Committee D20 on Plastics, which honored him with Award of Merit and title of fellow, and also served one term on ASTM Committee on Technical Committee Operations.
