ASTM WK44033, Specification for Fluid Composite Transfer Pipe and Fittings, will cover requirements and test methods for a new type of pipe used for general water transport at industrial, mining, and oil/gas field applications for well-site transmission of influent, fracking flowback, and wastewater, at up to 250 psi working pressures. Once approved, it will be used or referenced by federal and state regulatory agencies to maintain high quality, leak-free pipe installations.
