AT&T is aware that cable operators are trying to give their customers access to video services inside and outside the home, but Glen Lurie, president and CEO of AT&T Mobility, says that the industry segment lacks one thing: wide-area wireless. After completing its acquisition of DirecTV, AT&T launched offers immediately that incorporated smartphones and TVs for one price.
