To manage all GDDN engineering and deployment activities and related reporting, and to coordinate GDDN Site Acceptance and Network Acceptance Reviews To support Segment LAN Element ReviewsBoards e.g. DRBs, FTRB, STRR, STRB Support all Network ops processes, ARBs, CCBs providing coordination across all Ops teams on issueschanges, supporting information transfer to ESASegment, supporting CCR implementation planning and followon fixchange validations, including status of expected level23 fixes affecting mission services and associated incidents as well as related troubleshooting activities To support the coordination of the local GCC network ops teams, ensuring harmonization of an integrated MDDN, SDDN and GDDN ops concept definition, processes implementation, procedures development and validation and documentation organization and development across GCC sites and teams To be responsible for cla and uncla LAN and WAN network ops procedure definition and maintenance To support SegmentsSystemOps Formal ReviewsBoards e.g. SQR, ORR, LRR, QPM and coordinate accordingly GSOp inputs and contributions e.g. progress reports, presentations, RIDs on the topic of E2E NW To liaise closely with the Service Troubleshooting Manager and to propose Network troubleshooting activities for incidentsanomalies that might impact the service. To produce technical notes, plans, reports and other documentation as required plus regular activities status reports e.g. monthly report. To report the progress of the anomaly resolution, providing inputs to the incident reports and propose plan for risk mitigation To support in the maintenance and update of the Risk Register related to the GDDNMDDN and SDDN systems and infrastructures of the GSOp project Required Qualification and Experience University degree in a relevant field e.g. Telecommunications, Electronics, Informatics, Engineering, Physics with at least 5 years of work experience. Have expertise and background in Networking Systems Engineering andor in Ground Segment Operations in an international environmentmission Experience and background in GroundNetworks Systems AIV or Operations Have experience in managing and tasking technical teams Possess good problem analysis and solving skills Possess good liaising and communication skills The job requires also Fluent written and spoken English, fluency in Italian andor German is appreciated Fluency in standard office automation tools MS Office, Email, Internet, etc. Work location Headquarter Munich, Germany. Frequent travels to GCCI Fucino, Italy and GCCD Oberpfaffenhofen, Munich, Germany as well as occasional visits to other European locations are requested. A New vacancy for a Junior Service Transition Manager has arisen within the Airbus Defence Space service management team in Newport, South Wales. We are looking to develop a candidate, who is able to demonstrate familiarity with service delivery, project management and customer relationship management practices, into a Service Transition Manager. The Junior Service Transition Manager will be reporting within the service management team, the Junior Service Transition Manager will eventually be responsible for the transition of specific Airbus services from initial contract award into the delivery phase of the ITL service model. During these quieter times the candidate will be expected to work with the Newport Service Lead to define and implement new standard and repeatable transition models depending on the service contracted. The individual will be both customer and internal business facing and basic knowledge of ITIL disciplines such as incident and problem management is required. The candidate should also be comfortable with a Project Management discipline. The candidate will be required to work independently within differing security requirements and client organisations. Create and maintain relationships to ensure services are transitioned to time and cost in line with planned milestones, thus avoiding financial and reputational impact Liaise with customers, internal functional management, partners or third party service providers Dependent upon experience and developmental planning, the candidate will become accountable and responsible for the risk free take on and run of new services including ensuring that all new projects work in line with the technology strategy and ITSM tooling and platforms Ensure that AIRBUS services commence on time and to quality and all required support staff are able to take on services with no knowledge or capability gaps Provide reports as required by the Service Delivery lead Work closely with the Service Operations team as key stakeholders Contribute to continual service improvement. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Your skills The Junior Service Transition Manager must be able to demonstrate An awareness of service delivery practices, preferably ITIL within the Defence or security sectors A Project Management ability Experience in operating a network or security managed Service would be preferred Knowledge of how KPIs and SLAs are managed Awareness data security practices Able to develop and implement new processes and procedures Able to work in an autonomous way and be comfortable in customer facing situations Capable of performing a Service Deliver Management role if required, dependent on current team workload and business forecasts Must be UK Security Cleared or if lapsed can demonstrate previous clearance levels within the last 12 months.
