BusinessGreen: Tesla has posted its first quarterly profit after the electric car manufacturer recorded higher than predicted sales of its Model S sedan.
A company statement released on Sunday said vehicle sales in the first three months of this year exceeded 4,750, comfortably beating its target of 4,500 units.
It added that "as a result, Tesla is amending its Q1 guidance to full profitability", although no exact figure has yet been given.
