Activist investor Becker Drapkin takes bigger stake in Pacer International

Dallas-based Becker Drapkin Management LP has acquired 2.9 million shares of Pacer stock since May, or 8.2 percent of the total outstanding, including most recently purchasing 100,000 shares on Aug. 20, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission .
