AirLoc damping pads were selected to be used in a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (shown below) mounted on top of a Just Goods store building in Rockford, IL. The VAWT has (5) 12 ft. blades, 10 ft. diameter, and 18 ft. total height. There were issues with the vibration produced by the generator which traveled down the support structure into steel roof members, causing objectionable noise in the building.
