Based on native Aluminum Nitride (AlN) substrates, Optan UVC LED enables effective and efficient biofilm and biofouling control. This surface mount device (SMD) also supports Total Organic Carbon (TOC) monitoring in water. Other uses include operation as low-voltage source of UVC light for calibration of such equipment as cameras and photodetectors.
