Alaska Airlines experiments with biometrics to speed up airport check-in

Alaska Air Group is wrapping up a three-month pilot project to see how viable that may be for people to move through the entire ground check-in process with their identity secured by digital fingerprint readers. The pilot project is just part of years of work on Alaska's part to speed up and simplify the check-in process.
