Alignment Specialist Your Tasks Within the AIT Assembly, Integration, Test department we have established a small group which is responsible for tasks concerning alignment during the AIT phase of a satellite project. We are now in a phase were we have setup the general ability and need to increase the staffing to fulfill the needs of all satellite projects. Within this group your tasks will be Support of different satellite projects to establish alignment plans Check of alignment requirements and conversion into an alignment approach Identification of the methods to be used for specific alignment tasks Definition of an appropriate alignment sequence Generation of appropriate test procedures for alignment Perform alignment measurements by use of Laser Tracker and Theodolites Evaluate test results Train personnel to perform measurements according to procedures for recurring activities Establish standard approaches for alignment measurements Your Qualifications University degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering Focus on optical measurements during some years of experience Familiar with usage of Theodolites and Laser Tracker Experience in alignment processes in the space industry High motivation and proactive attitude Good conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under time pressure Fluency in spoken and written English, German is an asset
